The following example is a typical interactive map. The BurgerMap site states its purpose simply: “The world’s best burgers. On a map.” The site was created and is hosted by Chris Peterson, a graduate student. He writes: “Maps help people find things. BurgerMap helps people find burgers.” To render the map below, we looked at the full-screen version of the BurgerMap, and clicked to focus on Alaska. Kriner’s Diner in Anchorage was among other burger spots identified and reviewed by BurgerMap users.
