Chapter 14, Additional Exercise 3: Evaluating a Claim Letter
At Complaints.com, consumers with a complaint about a product or service can fill out a short form describing the problem they've encountered. Browsing among the claim letters provides an interesting lesson in what to do (and not do) when writing a claim letter. Study one of the letters, considering the ways that it does and does not conform to the principles of claim letters presented in Chapter 14. Be prepared to share your findings with the class.
