Interview (television or radio) (MLA)

Works cited entry

MLA-136

Tempkin, Ann, and Anne Umland. Interview by Charlie Rose. Charlie Rose: The Week, PBS, 9 Oct. 2015.

Explain

  • Begin with the person interviewed, followed by the title of the interview (if there is one).
  • If the interview does not have a title, include the word “Interview” and a period after the interviewee’s name. (Omit this if you use the interviewer’s name—see the next bullet.)
  • If you wish to include the name of the interviewer, put it after the title of the interview (or after the name of the interviewee if there is no title), preceded by the words “Interview by.”
  • Add publication information for the television or radio program that hosted the interview.
